If you are interested in “micro-experiential learning” involving curriculum-embedded projects for your students, consider Riipen as an avenue to connect with companies and non-profits looking for university partners. This service, available to the University of Toronto, facilitates collaborative projects with community organizations and businesses by helping with the matching process, project set up, and ongoing coordination. Students benefit from direct feedback from employers.
Our Riipen liaison notes that they have many companies who will provide project ideas, or may be interested in an experiential component that you have designed for your course or co-curricular program. Current UofT project examples, or project postings from companies and organizations may be browsed for ideas.
